Tripsam Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective date: February 14, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, reschedules, and no-show situations are handled for bookings made through Tripsam.
1. Cancellation Window
- If a booking is cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled safari time, a full refund is provided.
- If a booking is cancelled between 48 hours and 24 hours before the scheduled safari time, a 50% refund is provided.
- If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled safari time, no refund is provided.
2. Refund Method and Processing Time
- Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Banking, wallet, or payment gateway timelines may affect when the refunded amount appears.
- Tripsam may share transaction reference details when needed for support follow-up.
3. Reschedules and Date Changes
- Date or slot change requests are subject to availability and operator approval.
- A requested change may lead to fare differences, revised availability, or updated booking conditions.
- If a change cannot be accommodated, the standard cancellation policy will apply.
4. No-show and Late Arrival
- No-show bookings are non-refundable.
- Late arrival can result in denied entry, missed reporting, or a shortened experience without refund.
- Guests are responsible for reaching the reporting point on time unless otherwise specified in the booking.
5. Operator or External Disruptions
- Trips may be rescheduled or cancelled due to weather, government restrictions, safety advisories, forest rules, or operational constraints.
- In such cases, refund or reschedule handling will depend on the specific operational situation and supplier terms.
- Tripsam will communicate the next steps as clearly as possible when such disruptions occur.
6. Partial Payments and Outstanding Amounts
- When a booking supports partial payment, refund eligibility applies to the amount paid through Tripsam unless otherwise stated.
- Any balance payable directly to the operator may be governed by the booking-specific terms shown during checkout.
